Finally we can confirm you now that the wedding should be held at the Château d'Esclimont on August 3rd!
As you know, we were hesitating between several countries and several locations, trying to think about what is most convenient for our both families and friends. The following are some of the options we looked at: a white sand beach in Nicaragua, an exotic natural place in Okinawa Japan, the colonial city in Cartagena Colombia. Finally we found a “middle point” between the land of the raising sun and the warm waters of the Caribe: France. Then, we thought if it is in France, it must be in a castle. We took some time looking at several castles, and we finally found a beautiful castle not far from Paris: the magnificent Château d'Esclimont! Concerning the date there is a simple but strong reason to hold the wedding on August 3rd: that day is our third year anniversary. In addition, summer is a wonderful season to visit Paris and enjoy of a nice party in this great castle.
We will soon provide you more information about the exact location of the castle and all the logistic we are planning for this event. We will ask for your help in many cases, the idea is that we organize this event together.
